“The Nutcracker” captures Christmas
With Christmas just around the corner, many family traditions include going to see “The Nutcracker” at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. The new building, only being 3 years old, has architecture like no other building down town. The views from the lobby are breath taking, looking out over the entire city. The volunteers were very helpful while assisting guests with buying souvenirs and finding their seats. The best part however, was the performance itself. The dancers were well rehearsed and performed their routines with ease. The costumes and backgrounds where beautifully detailed and helped the performance to come to life. Overall, “The Nutcracker” was a performance I will definitely look forward to seeing again and recommend to anyone who is looking for a lovely evening full of excitement and Christmas joy.
