Why did you choose to transfer to Southwest?
I chose to transfer to Southwest because it was something new and I wanted a new experience because I had been with the same people since kindergarten.
What is your favorite thing about the school so far now that you have grown more accustomed to it?
It is really open and eco-friendly, every classroom has windows and the building is built to be very “green”.
What has been the hardest part of being here, instead of your old school?
There is nothing I really miss from going from Blue Valley to Southwest. I guess I would just have to say the people that I was really close with at Blue Valley I miss seeing every day, but I still keep in touch with them so it is not too bad.
What activities, clubs or sports are you involved in?
I am president of student council, in National Honors Society and was on the Student Advisory Board.
If you could, how would you improve Southwest for next year?
I’d want to improve the school spirit. The seniors really try to get people involved and excited for the games but we still have a very low turn out some of the time and not a lot of people join in with the theme days.
What else should I know about you?
I love to talk to people so if anyone has any suggestions about things or wants to know how to get involved, I am always there to help. I know people have some really good ideas that we could use for student council but they do not know who to tell, I wish more people would get involved [and share their ideas] in that way.
