Call Of Duty Black Ops Review
Exactly one year ago former biggest game in the world Modern Warfare 2 was released. While it was about as fun as being hit with a large fish, and it’s story was so full of holes that it was more akin to a piece of Swiss cheese than a game disc, it had some fun multi player and as a result sold very very well. This year we get the next installment in the franchise, Black Ops.
The game is about CIA agent Alex Mason who participates in a number of black ops missions, ranging from the bay of pigs to Vietnam. Mason is being interrogated by some unknown person, and the majority of the story is told in flash backs. Unless your taking notes during the cut-scenes your probably gonna get confused as to whats going on. But none of that matters because in the first ten minutes of game play you get to put one right in Castro’s big cigar smoking face, it’s pretty cool. The game is decent overall, although the game play in campaign is starting to get stale. After dozens of games, shooting your way across foreign countries is starting to get old. But as most people will tell you their not playing it for campaign, but the award winning multi player, but I’m not one of those people. I rate games on their single player experience only. The game is very fun and comes close to being amazing sometimes but never really takes any chances, which in the end leads it to being same old run and gun call of duty. It’s nothing ground breaking but it is a fun game and worth a purchase.
