1. Why did you transfer to Southwest?
It was something new and fun to do. It was different from West. I didn’t like West – I loved the teachers, but I hated all of the kids. I hate all of the kids from West, except the ones who came here – cuz they’re the smart ones! People there weren’t who they always said they were. They’d say something to your face and then do the opposite once you turned around. But something I’ve noticed about this school is that there are no cliques. At West, there were the popular kids and the not popular kids, and everyone else in between. But here, there’s not as broad of a gap. Everybody knows everybody, everybody talks to everybody.
2. Hardest part?
The hardest part about leaving West was leaving my friends, though. I came to Southwest with four friends and left everyone else behind. But it was easier to come here than stay with all those other people. I’ve made lots of new friends here.
3. Activities
I play soccer and I’ll probably play baseball. Other than that, I stay pretty disconnected.
4. Improve Southwest?
I like everything. The teachers could lighten up a bit, though, but that’s just a new school for you. There are just a few rules, individual teacher policies that are rough. So I’d just say relax a bit.
5. What else should I know?
I’m a really easygoing guy. I’m not shy. I don’t have a problem talking to anybody.
