Blanc Burgers+Bottles is located in the Mission Farms shopping center of Leawood. Although it is surrounded by other innovative restaurants with exotic cuisines, it is not outshined. Though the restaurant has a seemingly familiar menu of burgers, fries and soda, Head Chef Josh Eans brings new twists of unexpected flavors that allows it to stand out among the crowd. At a low-to-mid price range, it offers high-class, gourmet burgers made mainly from locally grown ingredients. Burger buns are baked daily by Farm to Market bread, a local company. Ketchup, mustard, as well as pickles are made from scratch. The featured Inside Out burger includes a half pound of premium Vintage Natural Beef® covered in blue cheese, smoked bacon, onions rings, ketchup, mustard and butter lettuce all between a warm onion brioche bun. With such a bold menu, a daring list of drinks is only natural. Blueberry soda and Kansas-produced Shatto root beer milk are only a few of the milder choices. Overall, Blanc Burgers+Bottles is strikingly modern in its simple décor but maintains the casual feel of a sit-down restaurant and is a well-suited place to go with family members as well as friends.
