Lauren Stone, Design Coach
Lauren Stone is a second-year staffer on The Standard. Last year she was the Special Sections Editor, but she is now one of two design coaches because she is passionate about design. Aside from being involved with newspaper, she is a third year debater and has been on the forensics team for four years. Last May she even took second place at Forensics State in Informational Speaking. Outside of school, Lauren is a pet lover and loves her dog, a Golden Retriever named Samson, more than life. Lauren is proud to call herself a nerd, and she particularly enjoys British Sci-Fi, the Marvel Cinematic Universe and all things pertaining to Harry Potter or The Hunger Games series. After high school, she plans on attending KU and eventually working as a pediatrician.
