At the boy’s varsity soccer game on Aug. 29, Southwest won with a score of 3-1. During the gam senior Sam Gettings scored two goals and junior Matthew Weaver scored one goal. The boys defeated Lansing High School at the first game of the year. The next boys varsity soccer game will be Thursday Sept. 2 vs. Olathe North at the Olathe District Athletic Complex.
