Meet the JV football players
The JV football players are considered the future of the program. These players have been improving their game almost every day so that they can play for you and for the school on Friday nights.
Meet the players, sophomore Offensive Lineman Jacob Buster, sophomore Linebacker/Quarterback Jack Sailer, sophomore Corner/Wide receiver Jake Wilson, and sophomore Offensive Lineman Alexander Gianino.
Q: Favorite thing about Coach Pitts?
Jacob: How he thinks he is bigger than I am
Alex: How he manages to be young but wise at the same time
Jack: His humor
Jake: He is always keeping everyone positive
Q: What is your favorite football team?
Jacob: KC Chiefs
Alex: Mizzou
Jack: Kansas City Chiefs!
Jake: The Green Bay Packers
Q: If you could play any other position besides your current one which would you play?
Jacob: Well I’d love to be a cheerleader, but if I had to pick a position on the field I’d choose running back because of my speed
Alex: Head Coach, that way I could run people
Jack: I would play defensive end because I love to hit people
Jake: Linebacker because you are a huge role in the defense
Q: What would you consider the most important part of our team?
Jacob: The O-Line
Alex: Helmets to prevent concussions
Jack: The team working together as a unit
Jake: That we work hard every day and not goof off
Q: Favorite Shoe brand?
Jacob: Reebok
Alex: Adidas
Jack: Nike

Q: Run plays or pass plays?
Jacob: I like runs up the middle
Alex: I prefer passing plays
Jack: Runs to the outside are always fun!
Jake: Passing
Q: Do you plan on playing outside of high school?
Jacob: Hmmm, I haven’t made up my mind yet
Alex: I’ll probably just play intramurals
Jack: Yeah I will probably play recreationally or intramurals
Jake: Yeah I’d love to have the chance if I can
Q: One thing you try to focus on in practice.
Jacob: Trying not to hit my head since that seems like a reoccuring thing
Alex: I always try my hardest to not get yelled at
Jack: Tackling because its very important in football
Jake: I always focus on catching the ball because that is a wide receivers most important job
Q: What is your favorite sport besides football?
Jacob: Bowling
Alex: Curling
Jack: Football is definitely my favorite sport, but baseball is a close second
Jake: Who doesn’t love basketball?
Q: What is your favorite part about the season so far?
Jacob: My favorite part would be the happy bus rides home after winning a big game
Alex: Getting Food After the games is always a positive
Jack: Winning the slobber knocker (the award that goes to the biggest hit of the game)
Jake: Earning the opportunity to play some varsity
