Girls soccer off to hot start
The BVSW girls soccer team is off to a hot start.
The varsity team has started off with a record of 5-3-2. The Timberwolves have pulled off wins against Topeka Seaman, Blue Valley North, Olathe Northwest, and Bishop Meige.
The T-Wolves are led by seniors Nikki Lynch and Amanda Creason. Lynch will be playing at UMKC next year and Creason will be at Tulsa University. Sophomore Rilynne Like has also been a key contributor, scoring 7 goals on the year, second only to Lynch’s 11.
Led by head coach Jason Pendleton, the Timberwolves are searching for the school’s first state title in girls soccer.
The T-Wolves get back on the field Thursday, at home versus Spring Hill.
