On February 28, the BVSW Cheerleaders went head to head with other schools throughout the area in a mega cheer-off. The Twolf cheerleaders had two routines, one for the Varsity team, and one for the Freshman team. Dancing, jumping and stunting to a mix of popular music, the cheerleaders routine had several formations and dance sequences, “the varsity squad got the Superior Choreography award” said coach Kelli Lair. “they also received a rating of 1, which is the highest.” The freshman team received a 2, which is close to the highest mark. Freshman cheerleader Jenna Clevland feels that the freshman squad finally nailed their routine, “I think we all finally landed the stunt at the end of the pyramid, we did good.”

Anna Glennon, Photo Editor
My name is Anna Glennon and I am one of the seniors that are on staff this year. This is my second year as a photo editor for the Standard.
I don’t have much free time outside of school, as I race standup jetskis professionally and am a full time writer and photographer for Watercraft Performance Magazine. Last year I competed at the IJSBA World Finals and placed 13th. Ranking me 13th in the world my first year racing. This year I won the U.S. National Championships and also claimed the U.S. National Points Championship. I love what I do and I plan on continuing for a long time.
