The boys swimming and diving team competed in the Kansas State Swimming and Diving Championships in Topeka over the weekend. The team finished 14th overall — a good finish for a newly established team. Brian Turner placed 3rd in diving and Alex Cohen placed 7th in the 500-yard freestyle as our two medalists. Placing in the consolation finals were Noah Linton in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle, Carson Buel in the 500-yard freestyle and Alex Cohen in the 200-yard individual medley. The medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay, and the 400-yard freestyle relay teams all placed in the consolation finals as well. Those additional swimmers were Clayton Fasenmyer, Dennis Caldwell, Keanon Swan, Nick Hettrick, and Tyler Pemble.
