This week, the school welcomed a new registrar, Betsy Fromm, who previously worked at Blue Valley Northwest as the counseling administrative assistant. She has worked in the district for a total of four years.
“When I found out that this position was coming open, it was a step up [from my previous job], and so I thought, ‘well, I like that,’” Fromm said. “And honestly, I was excited to come out here because I’d like to see how another Blue Valley school runs.”
Fromm said she likes her new position because she enjoys working with and helping both students and parents.
“My job is to talk to people and help with the records and transcripts,” Fromm said. “I’m actually already enjoying it because I do still get to talk to people, and I am a people person.”
She said she is looking forward to getting to know the school’s culture and more people on campus. She said she is also looking forward to attending a school assembly.
“So far, I’m really enjoying the people. Everyone has been so nice and welcoming,” Fromm said. “I also really like the building. I love your outdoor space in the courtyard and the ability to get some more fresh air.”
