Q: How long have you been teaching?
A: This is year seven.
Q: What brought you to Southwest?
A: I was moving back to the Kansas City area and when I saw that Blue Valley had an opening, I was really hopeful and it was the atmosphere and the kindness of everyone that made me really want the job.
Q: What do you like about teaching at Southwest?
A: I really like the coworkers and how great the kids are. Everyone is so respectful and welcoming and it’s been really nice.
Q: What are you looking forward to this year?
A: I’m looking forward to meeting new people and teaching some new classes next semester that I’ve never taught before.
Q: What college did you attend?
A: I attended Pittsburg State University.
Q: Why did you choose to teach?
A: My high school teachers told me that I should be a teacher and I really wanted to be like them.
Q: What’s a fun fact about you?
A: I have a dog named Turkey because she gobbles.
