Yesterday both the Symphonic and Concert Bands received the top rating of Division One at state festival. This is the first time both of Southwest bands have accomplished this at the same time. The concert band was one of four bands out of 14 at their performance site to get a Division One rating. Only four schools in the Blue Valley, Shawnee Mission, and Olathe area had both of their bands receive a one rating today.
